In the past couple of weeks I have been developing my typographic and illustrative designs into a range of products. These will be created ready for the first exhibition which will be held at Havering College.
The outcomes which have been made are; a collection of 17 postcards which can be given out, 2 A2 posters with favourite type compositions and portraits of philosophers and a book with all designs compiled into it. Outcomes which still need to be completed are; an A1 info graphic that introduces each philosopher with where they are from, cultures, birth, death, bio and to re create the 3D philosopher characters on a sturdier card. The posters will be used as a means of giving the viewer a journey through to the book. Start at the info graphic, then the 3D philosophers, typographic quotations and finally finish by viewing the book. This should help make and even keep the viewer interested in the work. Each 3D character is based on the philosopher illustrative designs. These characters add a great effect to my collection of work as one can pick up, see, and interact with them. I will use the illustrations/postcards as a background to the present with the 3D characters. My book will show all illustrative and typographic outcomes. It also adds another element to my exhibition. One can touch, interact and explore it.I will also use my logo as a vinyl sticker in a light grey on the top corner of the two boards. This will show my logo but this will not overpower the other work which I will be exhibiting.
